Join us to Celebrate the Launch of Refresh Health Club

Choose Reformer Pilates, Mat pilates, Pilates Equipment and more!

Join us and Refresh Health Club as they celebrate the launch of their brand-new health and wellness space in the heart of Wokingham!


The Opening Day features a fantastic line-up of classes, workshops, and demos running throughout the afternoon and evening:


12pm – Reformer Pilates (£12.50) or Pilates Equipment (£15)
1pm – Reformer Pilates (£12.50) or Pilates Equipment (£15)
2pm (Free) – Functional Assessment Demo
3pm (£20) – Pilates Principles Session

5pm – Reformer Pilates (£12.50) or Pilates Equipment (£15)
6pm – Reformer Pilates (£12.50) or Pilates Equipment (£15)

7pm (Free) – Live music, drinks, Pilates demos, Q&A, and the chance to meet the instructors and socialise with other attendees.

Please note: all bookings are subject to a small booking fee.

What is the Functional Assessment Demo?

Discover how your movement patterns and adaptations may be contributing to recurring injuries. This demo offers insight into how you can move more efficiently, improve performance, and reduce the risk of future issues.


What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a dynamic, full-body workout performed on a piece of equipment called the Reformer. Using a moving carriage, springs, straps, and pulleys, it provides smooth, adjustable resistance that helps you build strength, improve flexibility, enhance core stability, and support injury prevention. It’s suitable for all levels and fully adaptable to individual needs.


What is Pilates Equipment?

Pilates Equipment classes use a range of traditional apparatus such as the Tower, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, and smaller props like bands, balls, and rings. These tools help isolate muscles, increase strength, improve mobility, and refine technique — perfect for deepening your Pilates practice or working toward specific goals with a more varied, tailored experience.


What is involved in a Pilates Principles Session?

A Pilates Principles Session focuses on the essential foundations of Pilates, helping you understand how and why the exercises work. You’ll explore:

  • Breathing – using breath to support movement and stability
  • Alignment – finding optimal posture for efficient, safe movement
  • Core Activation – engaging deep abdominal and stabilising muscles
  • Control & Precision – moving with accuracy and intention
  • Flow – connecting movements smoothly and efficiently
  • Concentration – enhancing body awareness and mindful movement

This session is ideal for beginners looking for a strong foundation, as well as experienced movers wanting to refine their technique. It boosts confidence, sharpens understanding, and enhances all future Pilates practice.


Where to Go When You Arrive

Head up the stairs where a member of the Refresh Health Club team will be ready to welcome you and direct you to your session. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled class.

Parking: Nearby parking is available at Rose Street Car Park, Cockpit Path Car Park, or Denmark Street Car Park — all just a few minutes’ walk away.

Train: The venue is approximately a 10-minute walk from Wokingham Station.


Please note: There is currently roadworks in Wokingham so please allow more time to travel!
